Description: TO-4 fluids are heavy duty transmission and final drive lubricants
formulated to meet the performance requirements of Caterpillar TO-4 and
Allison C-4. They provide the protective qualities essential to maximize
equipment life and performance. Significant improvements in transmissions and final drives have increased equipment durability and productivity, but have also increased the workload on gears and bearings, requiring the development of new and diverse friction materials.
